Elizabeth and I had an awesome day photographing Jessica at the always gorgeous Tomball venue, Moffitt Oaks! Elizabeth was a fellow photography student with me at Sam Houston State and wanted to come visit me to learn how to push her photography business to the next level. It was so great to reconnect with her again and spend the day talking about everything you can imagine from posing to camera functions, lighting, post processing, workflow and all the behind the scenes business matters as well. Allison with AHSpecialties perfected Jessica's look with soft, loose curls and airbrush makeup that was so natural and glowing! Ashley with Striking Stems helped pull it all together with the most beautiful Fall inspired bouquet and bridal crown. This laid back, Fall vibe perfectly matched the venue! We even had a little bit of rain showers but that did not stop us! The cloudy skies made for such soft light and a few shots with a cute clear umbrella was meant to be! One of my favorite things to do is teach about what I am passionate about. Stephanie joined me for a jam packed full day of everything photography related and we made sure to kick off the day with hands on learning by photographing our lovely models, Dana & Norman. These two were so sweet and genuinely in love! It was a perfect day for a Spring inspired shoot at Moffitt Oaks. Allison with AH Specialties did an incredible job enhancing Dana's natural beauty with airbrush makeup and styled her hair perfectly! Meet Melynda! Melynda was our model for Jacki's Square One Workshop. Jacki and I spent the day discussing everything there is to know about photography! We practiced elements involved behind the camera including: camera settings, shooting in manual, posing, lighting, and equipment. After spending some time photographing Melynda, we spent the rest of the day discussing techniques behind the computer including: culling, editing, facial retouching, blogging, and the list goes on and on! I had such a fun time getting to know both Jacki and Melynda! Jacki, you are a rockstar and I am excited to see you grow as a photographer! Melynda, you are beautiful!
