ABOUT SARAH

Hi there, I’m Sarah! I’m married to my high school sweetheart, Sterling, of 16 years! We live in Spring, TX and have three daughters and a son! People used to always tell me before having kids, 'Your life will change for the better' and that could not be more true. We adore our kiddos and they keep life fun and full of spunk! I have been shooting weddings for over 15 years! I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography at Sam Houston State University in 2009 and have always held such a love of all things creative.

Sterling is a Hospice Chaplain and Worship Pastor. He is my best friend, tech guru and biggest fan. He has been cheering me on in this photography journey since the very beginning. We both have always been creatives at heart and are so incredibly blessed to do what we do. What gives me most joy is being behind the lens of my camera and having the ability to pause a beautiful moment that is one of a kind. I would be honored to have the opportunity to meet you and be a part of creating portraits that you will treasure for a lifetime!

A Few of My Favorite Things | Sarah Ainsworth Photography
  1. My family and my love of photography - I am a proud mama to four amazing kiddos! Every moment is priceless and I love being able to cherish these moments forever.

  2. Coffee - The best way to begin the day! After receiving a Breville espresso maker from a friend, I have been enjoying the best latte’s at home each morning.

  3. Cooking, Baking, and Eating (of course!) - I love getting creative in the kitchen and feeding the ones I love.

  4. Watercolor and all things creative - nothing says downtime to me like a glass of wine and painting while listening to Ben Rector & Coldplay.

  5. Gardening - listening to my wind chimes, watching the birds and seeing new blooms in my garden make my heart oh so happy.

  6. My high school sweetheart, Sterling and I have been married 16 years - we met in the high school auditorium during play practice and the rest was history.

I also love my church community, journaling, antiquing with friends, throwing birthday parties for my kiddos, going on road trips, cool mountain weather, peppermint tea, trips to wineries, coffee dates with friends, back porch chats with my hubby and watching the rain from a cozy spot on the couch.

I hope to meet you soon and get to know some of your favorite things!
