Tomorrow’s the big day for Kim and James, and I can’t wait to capture their wedding at Hidden Pines Lake Houston! But first, I have to share their gorgeous engagement session.
We shot near Flora Mexican Restaurant, formerly The Dunlavy, a peaceful spot overlooking Buffalo Bayou’s Lost Lake. With lush greenery, winding paths, and modern architecture, it was the perfect mix of nature and style. We ended the session inside Flora’s bar, which brought a fun, swanky vibe to their photos.
This shoot was extra special since Kim is the sister of one of my former brides, Katie. I love getting to celebrate milestones with families like theirs! Can’t wait to celebrate with them tomorrow!

Randi & Matthew's Countryside Engagement Photos Huntsville, TX

Randi & Matthew’s engagement was a really special one! We spent the evening on their family’s private land in Huntsville, TX. It was surrounded by wide-open fields, golden sunlight, and the sweetest animal crew—four playful dogs, a couple of beautiful horses, and even the cows wanted their moment in the spotlight.
The dogs were the best little sidekicks, following Randi and Matthew wherever they walked, while the horses added such a peaceful vibe to the scenic backdrop. Randi & Matthew’s connection is so natural and easy—you can just tell how much they absolutely adore each other.
The warm sunlight and rolling Texas land stretching out as far as we could see was the perfect setting for capturing their love story. I felt so privileged to capture this new beginning in the journey of their life together!

This is still to date one of my most fave engagement sessions. Elaina & Brett rocked the urban city scape vibes to a T. The chic, sophisticated city ambiance paired with the Houston skyline at sunset was dreamy to say the least. The combination of the sleek edges and lines of the urban architecture to the warm glow of the city buildings at sunset was a heavenly combo for this sweet couple. Elaina and Brett had such a sweet connection and made capturing their natural selves very effortless.
