I was so excited when Amber reached out to me for a one on one photography workshop! We scheduled her workshop after I was coming out of my maternity leave so it was perfect timing for me to jump back in! She is expecting a little one herself and wanted to learn from me how I manage to maintain my business as well as invest in growing my family. I have to admit it is not easy at times and can be a balancing act, however, it is incredibly rewarding to be able to do both things that I love most in life! I have no doubt that Amber will feel the same as she pursues a similar balance. We spent the day shooting, editing, talking business and just about everything else you could possibly think of! Brittany and her horse, Double, were our models for the day. Isn't Brittany just captivating in her Kenneth Winston gown?! I am still swooning looking at these images even after days of staring at them! Moffitt Oaks provided the most perfect setting for this natural beauty and her handsome companion! Allison of AHSpecialties rocked her impeccable hair and makeup skills and Striking Stems brought the ultimate wow factor with the most vibrant florals. Come on Spring! So ready for all this vivid color and everything to be in bloom again! Here are some of the faves!
Elizabeth and I had an awesome day photographing Jessica at the always gorgeous Tomball venue, Moffitt Oaks! Elizabeth was a fellow photography student with me at Sam Houston State and wanted to come visit me to learn how to push her photography business to the next level. It was so great to reconnect with her again and spend the day talking about everything you can imagine from posing to camera functions, lighting, post processing, workflow and all the behind the scenes business matters as well. Allison with AHSpecialties perfected Jessica's look with soft, loose curls and airbrush makeup that was so natural and glowing! Ashley with Striking Stems helped pull it all together with the most beautiful Fall inspired bouquet and bridal crown. This laid back, Fall vibe perfectly matched the venue! We even had a little bit of rain showers but that did not stop us! The cloudy skies made for such soft light and a few shots with a cute clear umbrella was meant to be! Check out the Square One tab on the blog if you are a photographer interested in learning more about one on one workshops!
Shelby & Travis were a joy to work with! Their Chapel in the Woods ceremony and The Woodlands Country Club reception made for a perfect day! The day was full of sweet moments and beautiful details. Congrats to you both! I wish you the very best in your marriage. Many thanks to the vendors below that made this day so wonderful! Striking Stems
